Yoga for Weddings with Mackenzie Guerin

Mac2forblog

Mackenzie Guerin has been a yoga practitioner since 2003, and became a certified teacher through Stephanie Keach’s 230 hour yoga teacher training course at the Asheville Yoga Center in 2009. First exposed to the tradition of yoga by Diana Degroot as a student at East Carolina University, Mackenzie has since traveled around the world practicing different styles of yoga, including ashtanga vinyasa, anusara, yin, and flow yoga.  Her experience has lead her to a deep understanding of the practice, as well as alignment principals, anatomy, pranayama, theory, adjustments, and the ability to maintain presence of the mind body connection.

Through yoga, Mackenzie offers brides, grooms, wedding parties, guests and anyone planning a big event a way to relax and prepare for the big day.

After your customized, celebratory yoga experience, you will leave feeling refreshed and stress-free, with an experience that you and your friends will always remember!

Classes can be customized for the beginner or for the experienced yogi. Mackenzie offers a flexible schedule to suit your personal timetable: early morning, lunchtime, evening and weekend classes are available. All classes include yoga poses, meditation and breathing exercises. You can choose from an active power yoga/flowing vinyasa style, or a relaxing restorative/yoga therapy style, or a class that incorporates a mixture of both styles. It’s all about you!

Services include:

  • Bride-to-be private yoga classes
  • Pre-wedding day yoga family and friend classes
  • Wedding day yoga class

Classes can range from 1 to 1.5 hours in length, your choice.
